Remember this post where players from the selecao had to vote for the best players in the Brasileirão? Well, the results are finally out and were given out last night! Here are some selected results…
BEST GOALKEEPERS : Victor (gold), Rogerio Ceni (silver) and Marcos (bronze)
BEST RIGHT BACKS : Thiago Silva (gold), Andre Dias (silver) and Fabio Luciano (bronze)
BEST LEFT BACKS : Miranda (gold), Ronaldo Angelim (silver) and Rever (bronze)
BEST DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER : Hernanes (gold), Rafael Carioca (silver) and Pierre (bronze)
BEST ATTACKERS : Kleber Pereira (gold), Guilherme (silver) and Keirrisson (bronze)
BEST COACH : Muricy Ramalho (gold), followed by Vanderlei Luxemburgo (silver) and Celso Roth (bronze).
We have to agree with Thiago Silva and Hernanes, after seeing their performances at national and club level. Silva, in particular, ought to be playing in Europe in the coming seasons. And Luxemburgo’s win may come as a surprise to some, but his dedication alone to lifting Palmeiras is quite impressive.
