At last… here’s a photo of the MIA Brazilian, Adriano, leaving his mother’s condominium in Barra da Tijuca. This is the first photo of the striker ever since he failed to turn up at the Inter Milan camp last Friday.

You may remember Adriano’s ex-namorada, Joana Machado (of course you do, damn it!) Well, she shed some light on Adriano’s personality and the likely reasons for his questionable actions.

“It has nothing to do with drugs. He just feels really good in the place where he was born. In the two years that he was my boyfriend (is she serious?) , I was (at the favelas) several times with Adriano. There, we organized barbecues, distributed toys and gave basic baskets to the poor.”

“Adriano is a good person. He tried to get all his relatives out of the (favelas). A few of them didn’t wish to leave the place. So he went back to visit them. He is not the Emperor – he is a winner who serves as an example to others.”
