Yeah, these are not good times for fans of Real Madrid (“but isn’t that you?” asked a friend. “No,” we replied curtly. “We’re obliged to support their Latinos, though. So kindly make a sandwich.”)

The team fell to a 2-1 defeat in the hands of Osuasuna last night, although the Piped Piper of Higuain took the lead in the first half. Manos, it was the last game of the season… couldn’t you have at least bowed out with a victory?!

Anyway, it is sad when you can actually anticipate a team’s loss. Madrid need to re-examine every last detail in their squad now – find a balance and reconnect with one another. There’s no motivation within the team, everyone waits for things to happen, Iker Casillas is human but under tremendous pressure and if Harry Potter Perez thinks he can solve everything by bringing in star players, he’ll need to think again. Greaseano on the squad might just be the worst thing to happen to Madrid. It’ll be a party everyday – not like it isn’t already. Also, Gago has disappointed us a lot this season.
