Manuel Pellegrini aka Broody Eyes was unveiled as Real Madrid’s new treinador yesterday in majestic fashion (you know they could have rolled out a gold-embroidered red carpet if they wanted to.) By the way, is it us or does Alfredo Di Stefano always manage to look extremely annoyed?
“I have always sought well-played football because I think it is the football that gives the best results,” said Pellegrini, who was previously the coach of Villarreal and several teams in his native, Chile, Ecuador and Argentina.
“Very often a lot of journalists oppose a beautiful game in favour of results. In my career I have had the chance to be able to do both, they can go together.”
Also, everyone forgot about Grandma Juande! How dare they? If you’re heading to Ibiza, keep a lookout for him on the beaches with Dracula Calderon.

Maybe, but in this one looks so impish and whimsical.
