El momento es ahora…. and Kun Aguero has finally decided that it’s time for him to leave Atletico Madrid for a bigger team. Meanwhile, we’re pretty sure Maradona helped him to write his exit statement. These drama kings are all the same!
“I’ve thought long and hard and I am convinced that I must be true to myself. I do not think I put a ceiling on the ability to keep learning, to keep growing. After five intense years, this stage for me personally is over and I have to give way to a new one. I’m about to turn 23 and I have everything before me. Suffice it to say that this is not an economic issue but strictly a sporting one. So I want to clearly express my appreciation to the club for the efforts they have made for giving me a salary that equates with the largest clubs in the world.”
Now that everybody’s buzzing about Kun’s breakup, we thought it’d be nice to bring up a lost Internet meme. You mean you forgot his epic duet with Los Leales all those years ago? How dare you!

Since it’s been ages since we last posted something about IkerBonero, here’s something from their recent outing together to celebrate Casillas’ 30th birthday at Al Acebo restaurant in Boadilla del Monte. He always looks so annoyed to be seen photographed in public, understandably, but working the “Real Men Wear Pink” look can be very intimidating when you’re surrounded by the Spanish paparazzi.

It marks the end of an era for AC Milan stalwart, Andrea Pirlo, who officially left the club in his 400th appearance over the weekend. The Italian press are reporting that he’ll be playing for Juventus next season, since most Italian players don’t like to play overseas especially towards the end of their careers (and generally!)
“Life goes on. I leave [Alessandro] Nesta, a great friend, but we’ll continue seeing each other. It’s not easy to say goodbye to your teammates, to the club employees, to everyone with whom I spent together these 10 years.”
Well, at least Cesare Prandelli named Pirlo in his Italy’s Euro 2012 squad!
