The preparations are underway for Saturday’s Champions League extravaganza! Cameras are being set up around the stadium, players are arriving in London (boyband swagger and all – geez!) and the trophy is probably being polished in a fancy factory somewhere. Unless you’re an annoyed Basque supporter (many of them are ready to annoy the living daylights out of the Catalans and Madrilenos), you have exactly two days to make your predictions. Will it be Barca or United?

Meanwhile, a pair of hermanos who’re probably been listening to non-stop Brazilian funk music (to quell the nerves, what else?) are the Da Silva twins. Worst of all, only one of them will be able to start against Barca on Saturday. Which one will it be, Fergie? Fabio or Rafael? Esse é um dilema!
RAFAEL : “My brother’s been playing quite well so we’ll try to fight for the place. Of course because we are very close with each other, so we have to congratulate the other one. I think it’s always important to have this kind of rivalry because that makes us grow as football players. We’ve been doing this since we were very young so we always motivate each other.I think this quite a hot situation, the situation we’re in at the moment. But it doesn’t matter who is playing in my position. I think it’s always important to have this kind of rivalry because that makes us grow as football players. We’ve been doing this since we were very young so we always motivate each other.”

Jorge Valdano has left Real Madrid after a really awkward season working alongside Mourinho. He’s been a frequent fixture at Madrid’s public events and has had to work closely with the Portuguese. Unfortunately, there has been a conflict of interest, particularly since Flo’Perez wanted to “re-organise the club in the style of an English one and give Mourinho more authority.”
VALDANO : “I have always respected Real Madrid. I’ve never turned the club into a battlefield. I always put my position as director general before who I am, and I have always avoided fighting that battle. I have great respect and love for this club, and all my efforts were aimed at living up to the greatness of this team.
Well, check out how uneasy everyone is in this clip below…(The Ronaldo/Marcelo table were obviously enjoying the best laughs!)
