As much as we don’t seem to talk about English teams, many of you may know that we’re covering Chelsea as part of our Futbolita.TV series, along with Arsenal and Liverpool, which were equally great experiences. The international attention from within the teams has also been overwhelming — and we had a real exclusive glimpse into mannerisms and styles of some of these players and individuals. Meeting fans has also been part of the experience.
Chelsea arrived today (to much fan fare) and Futbolita TV was there to film their arrival! At the press conference, coach Andre Villas-Boas said :
“I will try to build on new way of playing. It is for the players to offer their potential. I don’t want to focus on formations but work on flexibility…learning from players and giving them the freedom to play. It is not about taking my ideas…I want the players expressing themselves and finding new ideas and making better decisions. I have taken over a team of players who are experienced and have won a lot in their careers.
And of course, this man, Fernando Torres arrived to the loudest screams!
