Hot off the Spanish press (from the newspaper with reporters who are willing to hold your arms as you are walking on unstable grass conditions: El Mundo Deportivo) is the news that Kun Aguero’s transfer to Man City will be finalized by Wednesday! If that’s true, Gracias a Dios because this soap opera has been going on for too long. The only way to top it off is for Maradona to arrive in a Dracula costume, complete with fangs!!!

Aquí está … el chico de Chile!! It must be great to have some local fans welcoming you to the club, as in the case of Barcelona’s new Chilean import, Alexis Sanchez. They were all waiting for him outside Barca’s office, waving their flags and screaming his name and were not disappointed yesterday. The 22-year-old assumes a winger/striker position – much like Greaseano – and apparently snubbed Man City, soap-opera style, before joining Barcelona!
