- Thanks to Neymar, Brazil defeated Costa Rica by a lone goal a few hours ago (1-0!) The general consensus is that Neymar was the only one who turned up at the pitch, while everyone else had a bad game. “It was a very difficult game. Costa Rica are no fools but our national team knew how to handle the pressure and were able to win,” Neymar said.
Meanwhile, here are the goals from Spain’s 2-0 victory over the Czechs…. san Milan Baros! Torres didn’t score in this one (cue the eye rolls, come ON!) but at least Juan Mata and Xabi Alonso finished the job! As for David Silva, gotta love his comeback in the national team. He’s been fighting some inner devils, so this probably means a lot to him.
