Seleção Bootcamp : Brazil Ready For Mexico & David Luiz’s Special Water Exercise

Bem-vindo a Bootcamp Monday! We’re almost reaching the end of this month’s edition as Brasil prepares to face Mexico in a friendly tomorrow. We know there are many Mexican Futbolita readers, so if you’d like to say “OIII!” to Mano’s men, they’re putting up at Hotel Camino Real, where a churro or two would be most welcome if you’d like to slip past those buff security guys (just kidding).

Chicharito (seen left at a press conference), Rafa Marquez, Gio dos Santos, Hector Moreno and gang have all been recalled to the Mexican national team for this friendly in Torreón. Que pena!

Also, you’d better believe us when we tell you that the Mexicans are treating this like a World Cup semi-final match. At the rate Brasil have been playing, we’d be surprised if El Tri don’t actually score at home – they’re men on a mission! As for Ronaldinho, MEU DEUS... he’ll need to forget about Flamengo’s form and remember he is playing (again) for Brasil!!

Upon their arrival, the players who featured in Brasil’s 1-0 win over Costa Rica were immediately sent to the recovery pool to do some regenerative water training exercises with their physiotherapist, Luiz Alberto Rosan. David Luiz always looks like he’s about to crack up, but this time, his deadpan expression proves he is taking Rosan’s water exercises very seriously for once. “Pay attention now, tread the water and cup your hands to your ears!”

Lastly, what did mama say about leaving your Troll dolls in the swimming pool?! If you leave them out for too long, they’ll eventually resemble Neymar. Who cares, right? As long as Brazil’s “IT” boy is handling the intense pressure well and scoring at every game… that’s all they’re asking, irmao!
