Serie-A Sisterrr : Boateng’s Roll & Italian Tributes

Well, well, what do we have here… Alberto Aquilani finally over the moon for Kevin-Prince Boateng, of course! The only name the Rossoneri should be chanting at breakfast, lunch and dinner today is ‘Boateng’ because his second-half hat-trick yesterday led them to 4-3 win over Lecce yesterday. Eccellente! Sure, Robinho hasn’t exactly been justifying a call-up back to the selecao with his club performances, but when at least there’s still Boa-wow!(ok that’s going to be Boateng’s new soprannome/nickname from now on!)

It was also a sad day for Italian sports yesterday when 24-year-old MotoGP driver, Marco Simoncelli died in a horror crash at the Sepang circuit in Malaysia. The impact could be felt all over Italy, with an outpouring of grief and support for the young driver and the obligatory one minute of silence before kickoff.

Inter, however, had Thiago Motta to thank for sparing them the blushes against Chievo…Ah, good ol’ Motta! And here’s a video of Lazio’s 2-0 win over Bologna, which propelled them to second in the table.
