WEEKEND WRAP
- In honour of the Valencian derby between Levante and Los Che this weekend, here’s a plate of tapas specially conjured up by the chefs at the Orio Valencia Centro Restaurant for Futbolita when we were in the city! You have to try it if you’re planning to drop by Valencia – these guys specialise in Basque cuisine, and all you see up there are potato and seafood creations from the Mediterranean sea! Obviously you’d like to harpoon us now for adding to your hunger pangs, but you can’t miss these (and their good old plate of paella)… NO SE PUEDE!!
Anyway, here’s a video of Jordi Alba (the Valenciano ya’ll know from this!) and Valdo, from Llevante visiting the Coca Cola factory and talking about the derby. Basically, Valdo says there’s ‘a bit of pressure going into it’.
BLIND ITEM ‘ANSWER’
Have you guessed this week’s Blind Items yet, about the footballer whose mum made him move to a club in a city with plain-looking girls?
Well, we’ve just given you a big hint – the player in question has everything to do with the club on the left. Of course, he’s NOT pictured in the photo (Samir is pretty far off from the context too!)
As for Number 2, he has done extensive work with a team in the EPL!
Pepe Reina (seen above at his youngest new-born’s baptism ceremony) has declared that it may ‘take a while’ for Liverpool to realise their title chances. “It is just the first step we have to take in a long-term project. Things are improving but we want to be even better and at some point be champions of the Premier League again,” he said. Sounding a little bit repetitive, tipoooo?
