Welcome to Blind Items Monday, where our sources go undercover and do all the investigative work for you while you try to join the dots (like a boss!) This week’s Football Puzzles involve a sad Serie A star and a La Liga favourite, whose recklessness bears no end (it seems). As with the past week’s blind items, don’t limit your guesses to the headline hoggers. Happy guessing, amicis! Clues this weekend…
1) Which Serie A Player is going through a bitter and painful divorce now, with his wife bizarrely walking out on him and taking their daughter with her? Ironically, he made the move to his current club for her, switching cities to match her desire for a “glamorous lifestyle.” He was ready to do anything for her, but it’s a rare situation where his wife, according to our sources, has “had enough”. She mysteriously never wants to see him again (so you see, the woman is never always the victim!)
Although our player has not made his official debut for the club, he’s already in a bad mess without his family around to support him. Unfortunately, moving back is not an option and everybody knows that when you’re living in this Italian city, it’s about who you know in order to survive (a.k.a : Social circles). He currently wears the bib for an easily ‘Top 3′ club.
2) Which La Liga star had a brief and dangerous fling with a girl who wasted NO time in posting photos of their encounter on (brace yourself…) Tumblr? The first photo showed the player – whose name will send shock waves to the biggest football fans out there – smiling and looking at his phone while lying on a bed in one of the top hotels in his team’s city. The other two showed him – well let’s just say – barely clothed next to the girl, who is not even 20. Call it’ thrashy’ or ‘gross’ but stuff like this happens a lot!
Our source said : “The fangirl deleted the photos as soon as she was confronted by angry ‘ultra’ fans of the player. They attacked her on Facebook and her own blog, calling her a s*** and all sorts of names. She feared a lawsuit from the player, so she deleted them immediately, but she wants sell her story to a magazine in the country where the player is famous.”
Let’s just say he’s not a Spaniard, Portuguese, Italian or German and this player has a reputation to boot… you shouldn’t be surprised at all by the answer!
