Don’t get too excited yet – that’s an old picture of Kaka and Adriano (who is clearly no longer Brazil’s ‘imperador’!) in a chartered plane. Anyway, Selecao Bootcamp kicks off this week with two friendlies scheduled against Gabon and Egypt, and Brazil’s technical committee are already on their way to Libreville, the capital of Gabon in west central Africa. All 23 players who were called up will fly out from Frankfurt International Airport in a few hours with their sunglasses and glittery bags. On Thursday, the team leaves for Qatar!
RULED OUT
Unfortunately, both Kaka and Marcelo have been ruled out of this Brazilian Booty Camp despite receiving call-ups earlier. Que triste, you say… estamos de acordo! Kaka hasn’t played for Brazil since their defeat to Holland at the World Cup last year.
