There are only two thoughts that may be going through your head : “Are Spain trying to be National Yearbook Photo Kings?” or “I’d die to be Laura Chinchilla (Costa Rica’s president) right now!” Either way, the Spaniards are relieved that the Costa Ricans are still in love with them despite their 0-1 loss to England over the weekend. At a press conference yesterday, Del Bosque declared that there is “no cause for alarm” when he should’ve really stood up, snapped his fingers and yelled: “Eso es TODO, folks – we were simply curious to know how it felt like to LOSE!”
“We have analyzed what happened. We had a good attitude and behavior at Wembley. We fought all the way and in that way we are calm. I think all we did pretty well. You can’t be alarmed or look away when you do not win.” – Del Bosque.
You know Sergio Ramos is thinking of the song “Miedo” by Pablo Alboran at the moment this photo was snapped! En realidad, they were waiting for the photo shoot with Laura Chinchilla Costa Rican president to start at the San José palace. Laura also received her own specially commissioned Spain jersey (duh!) and Spain will play against Costa Rica tonight.
“Within the friendly people of Costa Rica, I expect a tough game. We are not going to let go easily. Costa Rica is a team with great (skill). I expect a very competitive game,” said Del Bosque.
