IT’S A BOXING DAY WRAP!

Nothing like receiving a brand new Cabbage Patch doll under your tree, eh Ashley Cole?! Jokes aside (or not, depending on who you support!), Boxing Day might as well have named itself ‘The Day Of Draws’ because five out of seven games ended in dead heat. Of course, Juan Mata did the deed for Chelsea but it wasn’t enough to help them beat a resilient Fulham (1-1, thanks to Pa Pa Americano, Clint Dempsey). Call it the spirit of the season, but Fernando Torres is also still on an extended holiday…déjalo en paz!
Man City played to a goaless draw against West Brom, which isn’t surprising given the fact that no one wants to travel to the West Midlands when they’d rather be at home blowing marshmallows into their hot chocolate mug! Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Blackburn was NO thanks to Charlie Adam’s own goal, which was quite literally a ‘gift’ to the Rovers.
The only tipos who felt like really winning were Man United who thrashed Wigan 5-0 thanks to Berbatov’s hat-trick. Fans who turned up at Old Trafford were treated to a visual display…. how about some Bulgarian candy canes for them next time, Dimitar?!
