Carlo Ancelotti had been jobless for the last seven months, watching reruns of ‘The Sopranos’ and your aunt’s episodes of Coronation Street up until yesterday. Ouiiiii, ce n’est pas une blague… Paris Saint Germain officially decided he was the man to take over the reins of former coach Antoine Kombouaré, who failed to transform the Qatari-owned club into the new Ligue 1 Galácticos! Football can be so cruel sometimes, but Ancelotti’s trophies with Chelsea should be a source of comfort to him if he finds himself crying one of these nights…
Anyway, Ancelotti joins Leonardo (who is the club’s current sporting director) at PSG. There’s no doubt that they will be exchanging jokes about the AC Milan boardroom, even if Leonardo is supposed to be classy and all that! Did anybody mention vice-president Adriano Galliani’s pants?
