Premiership Wrap : The Many Poses Of Chelsea’s Andre-Villas Boas & Arsenal’s Cottage Nightmare With Johan Djourou

This shot of Andre Villas-Boas subtly reminds us of a similar pose Dunga held two years ago when Brazil were losing to the Netherlands en route to the World Cup semi-finals! It’s one that screams “Estou desesperada!” (I’m desperate!) … except for the fact that Andre is holding on to his job as Chelsea coach fairly well these days. Really all about maintaining the wins now, isn’t it?

Chelsea managed a 2-1 draw Wolves last night thanks to goals from Brazilian Ramires (duh!) and Mr. Lampard. And since you’ve asked for it, click here for another Magician Pose, Villas-Boas style!

Over at Craven Cottage in Fulham (and the freezing park next to it!) neither Arsenal nor Robin van Persie’s aerial abilities were of much help. The Gunners succumbed to a 2-1 defeat… after Laurent Koscielny’s goal put them in the driving seat in the first half. Unfortunately, Arsenal’s very own boot room mascot Johan Djourou got sent off twelve minutes before the final whistle and things went downhill from there… dude, qu’est-ce qui s’est passé?!! Later, Wenger said in his post match presser that the referee “influenced the game completely the wrong way.”

Anyway, Steve Sidwell’s equaliser and Bobby Zamora’s winning goal sealed the deal for Fulham. Now you know why Bobby’s face is plastered all over the shops in Fulham…
