Everybody’s favourite Bullet Without Borders man, Maradona, has questioned Leonardo’s role at Paris Saint-Germain, where he is currently the club’s sporting director alongside coach Carlo Ancelotti. Maradona painfully complained that he doesn’t understand this set-up which clearly translates to : “Why is Leonardo spared from those dreadful cake-cutting ceremonies Al Wasl puts me through?!”
“I wonder if he’s a player, coach, agent or a merchant of oil. I do not understand. This is proof that in football, you can pay someone to support you. I do not understand. I did not understand when he moved to Inter Milan for a fee much less what he is doing today with the PSG. ” – Maradona on French TV show ‘Canal Football Club’.
To be honest, Leonardo looks like he could do with a break in this photo….
