Yes, you’re looking at the sticky note belonging to Jose Mourinho from Saturday’s match between Real Madrid and Mallorca. Granted, his handwriting looks a little like your 7-year-old sister’s when she’s penning a poem about Prince Charming in a pink cape, but who cares? It provides a fascinating insight into the way the “Special Tío” thinks….(Kaka – simply called “KK”, and the Wizard of “Oz“, Ozil and ‘XA‘ for Xabi Alonso).
Hey Mancini, can we see your tactic stickies too per favore? It’s quite obvious that you write ‘SWAG‘ in Mario Balotelli’s position and “Cumbia” to represent Kun Aguero!
Meanwhile, Atletico’s new coach Diego Simeone steered the team to a resounding 3-0 victory over Villarreal yesterday (not again, Yellow Submarines!) with two goals from Falcao and one from Diego Ribas (duh!) It’s definitely a great way for Simeone to kick off his campaign and hopefully take Atletico to a Europa league spot next season.
In the meantime, is there a crisis management at Villarreal? The transfer window is still open guys – time to do some shopping and strengthening, tal vezzz?!
Last but certainly not least, the Blaugranas presented their FIFA World Club Cup trophy and Leo Messi’s Ballon d’Or award to their supporters at the Nou Camp last night. It has certainly been quite an exhausting off-season for Barca, but at least they haven’t forgotten to how to show their apprecccciation by delivering a 4-2 win over Betis (with Xavi opening the score and Messiah scoring twice… typical!) Alexis Sanchez also scored from Xavi’s outstanding pass in the 75th minute, so the Chileans in attendance must’ve been quite proud.
Unfortunately, Betis’s Mario Alvarez was shown a red card last night. Cue conspiracy theories from Mourinho to Pep!
