There’s nothing a little mid-match Tango won’t do for you – just ask Valencia’s Pablo Hernandez! The striker was highly instrumental in Los Che’s 4-1 Copa del Ray win over city rival Levante last night – setting up the goals and missing a few for himself.
It’s only the first leg, but Valencia have the advantage and a solid chance of taking this through to the semi-finals. Compared to the eventual winners of the Real/Barca quarter-final – which we all know will not be a pretty sight – Valencia are on their way!

So this is what it’s like to dine with the best player in the world! Like a boss, Lionel Messi has his phone right next to him when he eats- because you never know who might call (i.e. Japan’s leading manufacturer of sofa chairs/TV manufacturers… etc). We have a suspicion that Pele has been trying to get hold of the striker as a way to get back at Maradona.
Truthfully, this photo was snapped at Pep Guardiola’s 41st birthday where the team and staff dined together for the first time in the dining room of La Masia’s new premises. There was cake, candles and all that jazz for the coach while Barca’s first-team met the club’s new staff members for the first time. Neat!
According to the Italian sports dailies, Dimitar Berbatov wants to go to Bayern Munich. The out of favour United striker was linked to Leverkusen last week but they’ve squashed these rumours and he is now apparently wanted by the Bavarians. The exact word they used was “temptation” – since when did the transfer window become a dating show?
Also, here’s a new football tongue twister for you. Say it out aloud now with a finger SNAP at the end : “Berbatov’s Bavarian Beinstellen!”
