There were two things we learnt about Zlatan Ibrahimovic this week. One was that in his youth, he was “easily in the top five of the most unruly pupils” his school’s headmistress had ever seen. The second was that he used to lock himself up in his apartment after a bad game when 50,000 fans whistled at him. But the Ibrahimovic of today – “Serie A Player of 2011” – thankfully is a lot different although his recent slate of outbursts can be attributed more to his tough “Ghetto” personality. There are some things you can’t change!
Naturally, Ibra came off the bench in the second half to help Milan in their 3-1 win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia last night. Robinho and Seedorf put in the other two goals to help the Rossoneri advance to the semis. In case any of you are missing Djibril Cisse, you’d be thrilled to know he for Lazio scored too!
