Buon giovedi…. there’s nothing quite like winning at the San Siro if you’re an Italian team, is there? Just ask Juventus, who weren’t even playing in front of their home fans in Turin and danced to a 2-1 victory last night! Ibrahimovic featured in this match (largely because it’s a TIM Cup game and not a Serie A fixture) but his goal was ruled out for handball. Typical? Not if you saw Juventus’ winning goal from Martin Caceres seven minutes from the final whistle!
“We have to accept this defeat, knowing that nothing is lost yet. We were a bit naive in the second goal and that’s disappointing in a game of this type. Those are errors that should be avoided. But we’ll remain calm.” - Massimiliano Allegri
