The future Mrs. Cristiano Ronaldo, Irina Shayk spent her Valentine’s Day in New York, where she handed over her “Sports Illustrated” Cover crown to model Kate Upton. Unfortunately, her Portuguese namorado wasn’t anywhere in sight, but at least Mama Dolores gave her a goodnight call!
Yesterday, Irina attended the David Letterman show looking fabulous (como siempre!) and dished out advise to women on Valentine’s Day. “Most importantly, you have to be yourself to be beautiful and sexy. You do not need long legs, full lips, beautiful hair and makeup,” she told The New York Post.
This time last year (see above), Ronaldo flew in from Madrid after the Real Sociedad match to attend Letterman’s show to celebrate San Valentín with her. Given Los Blancos intensive schedule, Irina will probably have to do the flying to Europe this time around!
Speaking of Real Madrid, here’s Alvaro Arbeloa’s bizarre choice of underwear cheekily snapped by the squad’s “plantilla” in the dressing room. Was this supposed to be a prelude to some Valentine’s Day ritual, Alvaro? If so, the Spartans want it back! There is no reasonable explanation for this unless Mourinho decided to throw a Troy themed dance party, complete with costumes and dance. Still, Sergio Ramos did his best to offer one to all you curious cats out there.
“It’s possible that (this underwear) came with the Lamborghini pack,” he said, referring to Ronaldo’s new car bought for his birthday last week.
Meanwhile, West Ham striker Carlton Cole posted a brilliant photo of his idea of a Valentine’s Day gift on Twitter last night – a tray full of cleaning products. There was even an iron in there! If this offended anyone, it’d be hilarious. Surely with all that money, Carlton can hire a cleaning lady to do all that for him while his girl grabs the champagne instead? SNAAAAP!
Here’s the ‘other’ Dad of the Year (hey, you can’t be winning everything Robin van Persie!), David Beckham, taking his precious daughter Harper out in New York for her mum, Victoria Beckham’s fashion show. She just can’t stop smiling, can she?
Anyway, Victoria announced that she will be naming her latest bag range after her daughter, “The Harper Bag”. She launched her latest collection on a presentation Sunday, as part of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion week. David, on the other hand, was assigned to be the photographer from the sidelines next to the dragon lady of fashion, Vogue Editor Anna Wintour!
