Barcelona’s Gerard Pique recently rocked the launch of his latest Mango campaign in Spain. He has been the brand’s spokesperson for two years, and believe us – he’s everywhere you look on the streets! Since half of you already have your paws on the screen (scroll down to get to the Samba dancers, boys!), here are the editorial pictures from the campaign. “Guapo y sexy!” exclaim the grandmothers of the world. You bet!
On the subject of Barcelona, here’s Xavi, Messi, Pedro, Pique and co’ trying to speak Turkish in a new campaign for Barcelona’s official airline. Everyone looks mighty confused – but let’s just say that Dani Alves will do well if he decides to move to Galatasaray in future. Dani, have you been listening to Tarkan songs (má escolha!!) or has Elano been helping you with the language?!
In case you haven’t heard (WHAT?!), it’s Carnaval week in Brazil – Ronaldinho’s Favourite Time Of The Year! You’ve already seen Wayne Rooney’s float, Neymar dressing up as a clown so you can expect even more crazy stuff from the guys plying their trade in the Brasileirao.
Anyway, Ronaldinho turned up looking dazed at the samba procession over the weekend. Vagner Love, Fred and players from Santos players were also spotted attending the festivities. Naturally, Neymar wore a Pirate’s hat and sang!
Ronaldo finally debuted his birthday Lamborghini over the weekend – you know, the one he casually bought for himself earlier this month. He drove it from his home in the outskirts of Madrid to the Bernabeu on Saturday for their home game against Racing. As initially reported, his new car was supposed to be painted red, but Cristiano has been known to prefer the dark Batman look. Get in the passenger seat, Irina!
Last but certainly not least, here’s David Beckham trying to remain significant in the USA. Who cares? He’s got those underwear ads going for him, so there’s no need to remind everyone of his ‘Game’! Talk about an awkward invitation to bring up the Rebecca Loos past…
