LA LIGA LUNES: FIFA 14 Releases Barca’s Real Life Graphics For Next-Gen Consoles, Villarreal’s Surprise

You’d better hope that the EA Sports designers are getting more than just a turkey sandwich from their bosses for their work on the FIFA 14 facial graphics because they did a superb job!

Each time FIFA game makers release their new graphics, we’re in shock over how realistic their illustrations are – just look at the faces of the Barcelona players designed for the next-generation consoles! Apart from Andres Iniesta looking like he underwent a Rhinoplasty, everything else commands a “Que guay!” from us, especially the state of stalwart defender Puyol’s hair.

In the pictures you can see reproductions of the faces of Puyol, Leo Messi, Andres Iniesta, Dani Alves and Jordi Alba.

For those of you who own the game, it has been said that the movements of the players have been programmed to mimic that of their real-life counterparts in a more improved version. We’re looking forward to the next few years’ editions – will you get to control your actual favourite players?

Meanwhile, Villarreal sailed to a 3-0 win over Levante last night, keeping them near the top of the Spanish league. The Yellow Submarines now lie fourth in the La Liga standings – right below Real Madrid, an impressive feat, considering that they were a newly-promoted side from last season.
