Happy International Women’s Day! Represent Your Futbol Nation At Futbolita World Cup 2014

    fwc1

March 8 marks International Women’s Day, which is a also day to celebrate all the passionate Futbolitas in the world. So we’re kicking off our search for girls to be part of Futbolita World Cup 2014 : Brasil!

The Futbolita World Cup is a campaign that takes place every four years to celebrate the love and passion females worldwide share towards the Beautiful Game. From Christina (in Spain) to Raio (in Brazil), Temryss (USA), Nabilah (South Africa) to Hanneke in The Netherlands, these girls have grown to become inspirational female World Cup ambassadors, which combines a deep love for the game, brains, beauty, and balls (of course!)

Through their stories and photos on their home nations, they have all allowed us to live vicariously through them in their home countries! And this year’s meaningful adventure kicks off in Brazil, the heart of football, where samba returns home, which promises a lot of fabulous fun!

The Futbolita World Cup is looking for girls (from each of the 32 participating countries) who have stories, photos and memories to share of their love for football. Did your dad or grandfather get you to love the sport? Have you grown up pouring over history books of your local hometown club? We want to hear all the details from you!
