There were some marvelous scenes at the Etihad from Manchester City’s Premier League win yesterday, especially for manager Manuel Pellegrini. And indeed, the Chilean deserves all the praise after achieving a remarkable feat during his first season in England. Simply Increíble!

“He remained calm all season for us to play attractive football and it was a pleasure to work with him,” said Nasri, who scored the first goal in their 2-0 win over West Ham. “There are no words to explain the feeling now. Maybe in an hour or two we will feel it. I’m so happy for the manager because it’s his first title in England.”

Goalkeeper Joe Hart, who was grabbed by pitch-invading fans for a kiss as he made his way to the tunnel, said: “He’s a winner, he wants us to win. He is a measured man and he believes in what he does.” Get Manchester City tickets here.

Zabaleta added : “Credit to him, it’s his first season in the Premier League and he’s won it already, so there is nothing more to say.”

Of course, family and friends were invited to revel in the occasion with players on the pitch, including Nasri’s girlfriend, Anara, who uploaded this awesome photo to Instagram page!

There will be an open top bus parade in Manchester to celebrate the trophy today, with routes expected to be through Peter Street, Deansgate and Exchange Square in the city.
