Lukas Podolski has cemented his reputation as the Sneaky Sam of the Arsenal squad, after posting up hilarious photos of his teammates dozing off in the team bus after apparently too much ‘partying’.
Thomas Vermaelen, Jack Wilshere and Oxlade-Chamberlain were several of the players captured by the German midfielder on the team bus sleeping. Arsenal’s 3-2 victory over Hull on Saturday made them FA Cup winners for the fifth time during Wenger’s tenure as the club’s manager.
And of course, in good old honest fashion, Poldi said : “(Arsene Wenger) needed (a drink). After nine years, he needs a little drink, of course. When I played for Bayern, I won the league title and the cup. When you win something you must celebrate. You celebrate, then you focus on next season.
“When you wait nine years, especially for the fans, it’s something special. Everywhere there was pressure about Arsenal winning nothing, the newspapers were crazy.
