And after Real’s disappointing 2-1 loss to city rivals Atletico, the contents of this letter are likely to resonate with fans.
Ancelotti’s side have already been beaten twice in their opening three La Liga games, and they have a five-point lead over their rivals. They now sit at 13th place on the league table, which is almost unthinkable, by Madrid standards.
