Qualifying for next year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 took place this week, and the big guns and favourites in the UEFA league all played to victories.

The UEFA qualifying competition saw Germany, England, France, Norway and Sweden all winning their groups while Spain and Switzerland did likewise to book their first ever appearances in the finals. Congratulations, girls!

With eight new team slots added, Europe’s one remaining qualification slot will be decided in October and November, in a play-off competition featuring the four best group runners-up.

In one memorable match, England’s women’s team thrashed Montenegro 10-0. Here’s a clip of it!
