• Noticias : Rafa Marquez, Arjen’s Letter & Bonus Vids!

A few weeks ago, we wrote about how Eva Langoria has been neglecting her old friend, Rafa Marquez in favour of the new Ferosh Kids, IkerBonero. Well, it appears that she has not forgotten him at all.. because they met at the Red Bulls-La Galaxy game over the weekend!

Marquez was with his namorada, Jaydy Mitchel, a Mexican singer and actress. Of course, her husband Tony Parker also attended the game purely for the debut of Titipo Henry. You gotta show your good friend some support, eh?

Here’s a photo of Arjen-We-Still-Don’t-Forgive-You-Robben with a message to his former colleague, Raul the Great One at Schalke! You all know how much Bundesliga loves the Real Madrid legend now, but Robben thinks that Bayern will be title champs again este ano!

He wrote: “Welcome Raúl, and good luck. But we will be champions. Greetings, Arjen!” And with that, he proceeded to dive over the pavement with the letter.

Here are two video featuring your highness Greaseano and the adoooorável Fabio Curly da Silva discussing ‘their game’.  Greaseano seems a little bit aggressive in his explanations, but that’s just cos’ he can’t wait to go on that lunch date with Irina. As for Fabio, queremos beliscar suas bochechas!

  • DUTCH FUTBOLITA : MY COUNTRY IS ALL SET!

Personally I don’t like these last few days until kick off, I just want it to begin!  All this news about injured players makes me nervous and I’m fed up with the friendly matches. Journalists don’t have anything new to talk about so they make up little things to fuss about and create problems that are not worth mentioning.

Fortunately there are also good things happening over here. Holland is looking more and more orange every day. People are putting up orange flags and banners and big video screens are being set up so people can watch the match together. Discussion topics between my friends go from which shop has the best orange t-shirts and how Robben is doing to where we are gonna watch the matches. Hollands first match will be played on Monday early in the afternoon, so we are thinking of watching it all together at university. So when Oranje start their World Cup adventure we will be ready, bring on the ‘oranjekoorts’!

If you want to know how some of our players spend their time when they’re not on the field check out this video below. It shows Ryan Babel and Eljero Elia playing a game of Pro Evolution Soccer in their hotel room.

On the Robben issue: his recovery seems to be going rather well. Without any setbacks he will join the other guys this weekend! He is not ready to play against Denmark on Monday, but hopefully he will be able to play as soon as we need him.

    Signing off,

    Your Dutch Fútbolita

The million dollar question here is… Does Arjen Robben believe himself to be the lead character from The Transporter? Oh dear, look at that swagger… eine Modenschau?!! Airport security better clear the pathway pronto because Robbie over here is NOT going to take NEIN for an answer.

Here he is below again, looking all serious like he’s on a mission. Seriously now, can’t he take out his headphones like Franck Ribery or at least grow out some hair ala Mario Gomez?! You’d expect a member of the CIA to pop out to hand him a basket of Easter Eggs for Louis van Gaal to sign!

Here’s a selection of photos for you to sift through of the Bayern boys arriving at Munich airport, and a bonus of Fabio and his pillow hair (in the background) laughing at Nani. Que tao engraçado?!!

  • The Fútbolita Interview : Kay Murray – Real Madrid TV

NOTHING excites us more than meeting a fellow chica who plies her trade in the truly madcap world of the football media.

So when Futbolita encountered Kay Murray, the fresh face of Real Madrid TV (which telecasts on Sky TV and Digital in Spain), it was a bit like talking to a long lost hermana. From running halfway across Osasuna’s home ground for an interview with Arjen Robben to being drenched in the rain and jostling in the mixed zone area for her sound bytes (or perhaps not), the 29-year-old broadcast journalist from Middlesbrough has done it all… And yes, it does all seem very, very familiar!

“On a normal day we are usually at the studios, writing, cutting and producing news pieces or reports for our programmes. I record Real Madrid Life, the show that I present, every Thursday. It’s a nice day, as I get pampered by my make-up artists and stylists before I go on set!” Murray enthused.

And although she doesn’t get to share a lunch table with Florentino Perez (“He is a very busy man!”), Murray’s job with Real Madrid TV means that she boards the same plane as the Madrid boys when they travel to away games and also enjoys exclusive sit-down interviews with them.  And in case you were wondering, that list includes Kaka and Ronaldo.

Well, it’s very rare to see Sergio Ramos score in any game since he’s hardly an attacker, but the flamenco dancer did just that last night. He canceled out Osasuna’s first goal against Real Madrid, which they eventually won 3-1 courtesy of goals from Pied Piper of Hamelin Higuain and Robben. So Real are on a high now with their fourth straight win in the La Liga.

Said your new friend (oh, come on!), Real’s president Vicente Boluda : “The team has been through a lot this week because of what happened, but it also knew how to overcome. I hope we can continue picking up wins and finish the season confidently.”

Boluda is making everyone eat that “Calderon put you in the dark, I will show you the light” bullshit. Don’t do it, guys!!

And yes, we’ve been having nightmares of that photo Boluda took with Grandma Juande posted a few days ago. They look like they’re having an illicit affair.
