And with her infectious energy in front of the camera, gorgeous looks and a footballing background to boot, Claire Rourke is quite simply the perfect ‘chica’ to front one of the EPL’S most-loved clubs.
Today, we’re delighted to have Senorita Rourke on board as our Official England Fútbolita!
“I am so excited! I love all the build up to football’s showpiece event and now that I am going to be part of it with Futbolita, it’s going to make it all the more entertaining,” said Claire, who started her career at Real Madrid TV.
And like Claire, you could be your country’s voice – updating the world on your nation’s progress – from team selection, opinions and spreading the excitement and cheer throughout the tournament.
Yes, starting from today, we are seeking passionate individuals to represent their countries as a “Futbolita de la Mundo”.
“I cant believe it just a few months away, it seems like we have been counting down to this one forever- maybe its because this is our (England’s) best opportunity for many years!” enthused Claire.
Claire’s journey started as early as 2005 when she landed a dream stint as one of the launch anchors at Real Madrid TV.
After graduating from university, she worked in the Spanish capital before accepting a job with LFC TV two years later.
Interestingly, Claire had considered a career as a footballer before she realized the many challenges that came with it.
“I started playing football when I was about 9 for my hometown team, I was lucky that they were one of the best Ladies teams in the country- The Doncaster Belles,” she recalled.

This story is too hard to pass up. But if you’ve been following the English tabloids, you would’ve probably been familiar with Hair Grease Ronaldo’s new blonde girlfriend, Olivia Saunders (pictured above).
Anyway, we do not know where Olivia’s heartbroken ex-namorado popped up from. But the douche named Ryan Lewis, has come out to say that he’s a Liverpool fan and can’t stand the fact his girlfriend is going out with Ronaldo.
“I found it strange that she did not answer my messages. But when I saw Olivia and Ronaldo together, I realized that (the issue) had risen to other dimensions. It is too bad to lose your girlfriend, but to lose her to the star of your club’s biggest rival is too much. I am not competing with Ronaldo, I know that I lost. I am devastated, but I will not cry,” he said.
Lewis, get a grip! Girls are blinded by his orange tan all the time. You can even see the tan emanating at full force in the darkness of a nightclub. Olivia will be crawling back to you in no time!
To be quite honest, anything less than a win for Spain would’ve caught us by surprise. They’ve got an impressive record and with the quality of their players, they were probably looking to extend it as well.
A 2-0 win over England perfectly bolstered this opportunity with goals from David Villa and Llorente. The latter’s header, in particular, was breathtaking. Villa’s goal was like watching the Euros all over again! The Spanish dominated the attack from the first half and when that happens, prising the ball away from them is never easy.
England made five substituitions but were unable to come back. Beckham may have had his “I’m-equalling-Bobby-Robson’s-Record-Today” party spoiled, but at least he got the cap he needed.
