• Madrid’s Slip, Barça’s Title… Es el Fin!

In the end, a draw with Malaga helped Bobojan and friends to celebrate their four successive La Liga title in six seasons! Mi Dios, it was a really close call and both teams fought till the end. But for Real Madrid, they were not supposed to come in second, en absoluto. Queridos niños, was it so difficult to get all three points against Malaga?

“Potter Perez’s investments needed time to settle in, Kaka was a shadow of himself and they don’t play like a team,” are assertions we’ve been hearing all season. Many of you think we’re anti-Madrid, which we can assure you is pretty far from the truth because the fact is we’ve been following their playing style for nearly a decade and although it’s a case of ‘Déjà vu’ sometimes, they’ve certainly improved.

Said Pellegrini after the draw against Malaga: “I’m not saying that we are the best Real Madrid in history, because you have to win titles to show that you are the best, but these figures and data are important.”

“Real had an exceptional season with a lot of points and we had to get 99 points to win the title,”
said Senor Guardiola. “I would like to congratulate Real for a great season. They have a great squad and are capable of reinforcing the team for next season so it will be difficult for us.”

To be honest, it’s not entirely Senor Pellegrini’s fault for Madrid’s elimination but Wedgiellas said kinda covered what we had to say. Futbolitas, don’t cry!

“It’s hard to digest because it is a competition where we have high hopes, especially for those of us who have been here for a long time. It’s a new blow for Real Madrid, but we must recover,” he declared.

Added Pellegrini : “The first person responsible is the coach. My future depends on the board and the only thing I can do is continue working like I have been doing.”

  • Ibracadabra Para Barça….

Barca fans must be yelling “Ibracadabra Cha Cha!” all the way to work or school today… and yes, they have ever reason to be muy feliz. Look Madridistas, you cannot afford to have a finishing rate of 0.01 on a night as big as this and it was obvious that tipos like Marcelo Mastercard (no wonder he has been ignored by Dopey) were already thinking of Ibiza. We must say that allowing Benzema Bon Bon to watch episodes of Père et maire on the bench instead of starting the game cost the team greatly. Pipita already said he connects well with the man, so what was misty-eyed Pellegrini thinking?

Anyway, neither team really dominated the game but Barca capitalized on their chances first and in el futbol, you know what you get when that happens. It was nice to see everyone hugging in the tunnel (although there was no such love between Wedgiellas and Valdes, esta bien).

Well, Greaseano showed glimpses of his qualities in the first half, but decided that it was all too much when he suddenly had a revelation from Mama Leopard Dolores. Said Ramos the Raver :“These matches are decided by small details, and we didn’t take advantage when we had the chance. They did. It’s time to turn the page. We are confident knowing that we played well and that we tried our best.”

Added the wise and Senor Pep: “This was a very good test. It’s always difficult against Madrid but even more so when you go in as favourite and them as a big underdog. That’s when Madrid is most dangerous.”

  • Gago To Return To Boca?

Poor Gago, he’s become the very thing we futbolitas must refrain ourselves from getting excited about.. which is the “Todos Guapos Y Sin Talento” (All Looks And No Talent) or TGST breed. All you masculine types are already rolling your eyes and murmuring “I told you so” but lighten up lads, we could not have predicted the fall of Gago this quickly. And he still has a future at Milan Fashion week!

Anyway, Gago the player is turning out to be a major flop and each time he touches the ball at the Bernabeu (observed the fervent Argentinean press), the stadium erupts into a sea of whistles. He has now expressed a desire to return to Boca, his boyhood club and even Alfio Basile is excited about that prospect.

Well, knowing Potter Perez’s strategy, he’d want to “reclaim some of the investment” he made in Gago (kkkk, not in that way). Second, Pellegrini doesn’t have many players who can take over Gago’s position and that’s not good. Well, it’d be better if Gago moved to Italy instead. It’s a lot slower paced there and the fans love you more…. not to forget, he can totally be the next face of Armani.

    • For the love of Kun, the Rojiblancos have been slapped with a fine of 150 euros (about the cost of a decent La Liga ticket these days). Anyway, RFEF meted out that small punishment after Atletico’s fans were said to have thrown objects at Pellegrini from the stands during the Madrid derby on November 7.

“In the 66th minute, the game was stopped for about a minute, because the visiting coach, Manuel Luis
Pellegrini, had to be handled by the Medical Services, suffering from a blow to the face caused allegedly by an object thrown from the stands,” read a report.
Lo siento chicos, esto es serio!
    • So apparently, Robin van Persie is heading off to Serbia to treat his injury with placenta. Sounds absurd, but believe us, we’ve heard worst. Cara is going all traditional now, as you can see but as long as Arshavin doesn’t start sticking voodoo dolls around into faux Christian Dior dollhouses, we’re still ok!
    • Poor RobinHood Amauri had to defend himself after Sampdoria’s Pazzini acted like a selfish brat on Monday. “My decision to play for Italy with or without a passport was made one year ago. I always respected everyone’s opinion, even that of Pazzini, and I want my respect: I chose Italy for a year, rather than Brazil,” he declared. That’s it, Amauri! The Brazilians will not like you for saying that so be careful! A few Italian futbolitas are already showing resentment towards Amauri….
    • There was a lot of controversy that followed the selecao’s 2-0 win over Oman yesterday in honour of the sultan’s birthday. First, journalists in the mixed zone had to fight with security guards who allowed the sultan’s relatives and guests to roam freely near the changing rooms. Some journalists were beaten and even exchanged shoves with security guards who guarded the door. How unnecessary and incredibly RUDE!

The last time that happened to us, a friend from the selecao came to our rescue (Agradeço a Deus!) The trick is to scream at 92 decibels. Also, who cares if you’re royalty? It’s pathetic that they can’t teach their children any basic manners – they were tugging at Lucio’s shirt while he was doing an interview and he looked disturbed (você está inculto?).
