Hosts Brazil have been paired up with Mexico (who came close to not qualifying), Croatia and Cameroon in Group A. Spain and Netherlands say “Deja vu!” to the World Cup 2010 final as they reunite again in Group B.

Meanwhile Group D literally spells out the Group of Death with Uruguay paired up against England and Italy. The Three Lions now face an uphill task to combat the tropical heat of Manaus, located in the Amazon jungle, while facing some tough opposition.

Said Roy Hodgson : “We know how good Italy are because we lost to them in the quarter-finals at the Euros. It does not surprise me at all to get a tough draw. But I am still very positive about the whole affair, as you never know.”

Group F are also a force to be reckoned with, as Argentina, Nigeria and Iran prepare to play one another. Both Iran and Nigeria are known to be ‘fighters’ especially during their World Cup qualifying campaign, so expect a hard fight from both sides.
