May 7 is the date to note in your calendar if you’re a massive Brazil fan, because that’s the date Scolari announces his World Cup final squad. Really, the jitters are already getting to us all!
In the meantime, “Parabens” (congratulations) are also in order for Man City’s Fernandinho, who has just received his first call-up under Scolari. His impressive form at City caught the eye of the Brazil coach, who announced his squad that will be playing a friendly against South Africa next month.
Of course, it is crucial for players to perform well in the next few months for a chance and everyone in the final squad has done well domestically (especially Oscar!) to deserve a call-up. Here’s the full squad, without the Brazilian-based players.
