Four Players That Will Have An Improved Rating On FIFA 21

The countdown to the release of FIFA 21 is now well underway, with the football title likely to be released in October. There is also extra excitement around FIFA this year for gamers as the title will likely be released on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 for the first time.

The ratings of players on the game have been a contentious issue over recent seasons, with EA now making huge reveals before the game is even released. But, which players have excelled this season will likely see a huge jump in their ratings when FIFA 21 is released?

    Erling Braut Haaland

The easiest place to start will be with Norway and Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Braut Haaland. The powerful striker has enjoyed an excellent second half of the season in Germany, and there will be high hopes for him next season both at club level and international. Since joining Dortmund in the winter, he has scored 13 goals in 14 games in the Bundesliga.

The 19-year-old has also showcased his potential in the Champions League for both clubs, as he scored eight goals in six games for Salzburg before Christmas, and then two goals in two games for Dortmund in the two knockout legs against Paris Saint-Germain. There is no doubting that he will have a higher rating than the 73 rating that he had in FIFA 20.

    Mason Greenwood

Another striker that has performed excellently for his club throughout the season is Mason Greenwood. It would appear like a no-brainer that his rating on FIFA 21 will be higher than the 67 that he had in FIFA 20. Greenwood’s performances have ensured that Manchester United haven’t particularly missed Romelu Lukaku this season, as the 18-year-old has scored 12 goals in all competitions this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been able to play the Englishman in a variety of positions throughout the season as he is as capable on the right-wing as he is through the middle. There were rumours that he was in line for an England call-up for the European Championships, and should he match his performances from this season in 2020-21, then it would seem only a matter of time before he gets his first cap.

    Alphonso Davies

There haven’t been many better full backs in world football this season than Alphonso Davies. The former MLS player has seamlessly settled into life in the Bundesliga, and his rating of 72 in FIFA 20 looks to skyrocket in the next release of the game.

Davies has been an essential part of the Bayern team throughout the season as the Bavarians have won the Bundesliga title for the eighth consecutive year. The Canadian has actually achieved a record of speed in Bundesliga, with 36.51 km/h. With a pace comparable to a Kentucky Derby horse race winner, we believe Davies will have that particular stat heavily boosted.

The 19-year-old is prominent at both ends of the pitch having scored three goals and made five assists in 23 Bundesliga starts this season. He has also averaged 2.3 tackles per match and made 1.1 interceptions.

    Ansu Fati

The young talent that Barcelona is able to bring through into their first team is staggering, and there has been yet another example of this season in Ansu Fati. Fati looks certain to enjoy a rating boost from 73 in FIFA 20 when FIFA 21 is released.

The 17-year-old has scored five goals in eight La Liga starts this season, while he has also made one assist. Fati has also found the back of the net in the Champions League this season, and he averages one dribble per match. He will be a player that football fans will be keeping a close eye on for seasons to come.

There you have it, 4 players who we believe will have a huge boost in FIFA. Who else are you expecting to see its rating grow?
