    Barcelona-based football agent Jorge Santome joins Shoutout Asia

    Malaysia-based startup Shoutout has announced an official partnership with European sports agent, Jorge Santome of Aimsport International Management (Barcelona), who has represented and negotiated deals with elite football stars from Premier League 19/20 Champions Liverpool FC, FC Barcelona, Man City, Real Madrid, and more. 

    Among the many deals he has done, Santome was also authorized to negotiate in exclusivity for players such as Casemiro, Riquelme, Falcao and Mohammed Sissoko, household names for millions of football fans worldwide. 

    Santome will be in charge of bringing in top European and global sports talents and celebrities onboard Shoutout, giving them the chance to get closer to their fans in Asia. His extensive connections and profile spans across Europe, South America, and the United States, covering sports and entertainment.

    Santome has 15 years of experience working as a football agent, with key connections worldwide. He was previously at global agency IMG, where he first entered the sports management industry, participating in deals with players such as Maxi Lopez (FC Barcelona), Gerard Piqué (Manchester United), Juanfran Garcia (Besiktas/Ajax), Maxi Rodriguez (Espanyol) and more. He then set up his own company, Aimsport International Management, representing athletes across elite European competitions such as the UEFA Champions League, the Premier League, the Spanish League, the Greek League and more.

    Santome graduated in Psychology and Journalism at the University of San Francisco (USF), and prior to becoming a football agent he worked at retail brand Mango.

    Shoutout is founded by entrepreneurs Siong Ong, Gen Chia, and Ash Hashim, whose network spans across the media, sports (football), business, and tech industries. 

    The platform successfully concluded its angel round, and is now preparing for its seed round. It also launched its own successful eSports tournament (Shoutout Cup), which saw regional guests and players participating.
